The language test for the long term students
In the end of the exchange year all the long term students can test their
skills in Finnish or Swedish, depending on what the language of their host
families is. The test takes place twice a year. For the students arrived in
January the test will take place in October-November and for the students arrived in
August it will take place in April.

The test is arranged according to The National Certificate of Language
Proficiency. This a test system planned for adults. The test can be taken in
many languages. The tests are arranged in test centers all around the country.

There are three test levels, but the most fitting for exchange students is
The Basic Level Test. There is a participation fee of 58 euros for the test.
Usually the Rotary club will take care of the expenses.
