The long term students will have every year a possibility to visit St
Petersburg in Russia. The trip will give a unique opportunity to learn
to know a city and culture definitely different from yours.
The trip will be made by buses and will be guided by Rotarians. Among
the places we visit will be the most important tourist attractions of St
Petersburg, such as the Fortress of Peter and Paul, Hermitage, Isaac's
Cathedral, Main street Nevski Prospekt and it's buildings and river
Neva. The program will vary each year
The trip is optional and students will have to pay the trip
themselves. In January 2008 all the students will receive a letter by mail, giving the
necessary information. All the material sent in the letter will be also
available here (excl. visa-application form). If You haven't received a
letter, please contact the organizer, Torsti Poutanen.
Next trip will take place on 2. - 5.5.2008.
